For my 50th birthday I gave myself a very special gift… the gift of better health! Let me explain.
In the two months or so leading up to my 50th birthday I lost 25 lbs. As of my 50th birthday I can now fit into jeans that are the size I wore when I graduated high school, back in 1980 🙂
I haven’t been able to do that for a very, very long time!
Ultimately, when everything was said and done, I lost a grand total of 50 lbs!
I went from 200 lbs. and a 33-34 inch waist, down to 150 lbs. and a 29-30 inch waist. And to top it all off, I also made sure that in addition to losing the weight, I was also keeping myself in good physical condition, strengthening my heart, lungs, arms, chest and legs.
The big deal for me is HOW I lost the weight, just as much as the fact that I did lose it. I don’t like fad diets or gimmicky weight loss methods that wreak havoc with our body’s metabolism, go to extremes when it comes to types of foods we can or can’t eat, etc.
So I developed my own system for losing weight. I call it “No Nonsense Weight Loss”. There are no gimmicks, no special gadgets or pieces of exercise equipment needed to buy and no whacky methods to this system. Hence the “No Nonsense” aspects of it.
When I recently went for my annual checkup at the Dr., he was quite impressed with my results and told me that I was much healthier than the last time I was in to see him. My blood pressure was excellent. My pulse rate was excellent and my weight and overall physical health were great! Oh, and my cholesterol dropped over 25 points too!!
So now that I know this works I’d like to let other people in on it. Here’s what I am going to do. I documented everything I did to lose the weight and become healthier. I will now be taking all of this info and rolling it into “The No Nonsense Weight Loss System”, which I will be posting here at this blog.
I will be breaking the different elements of my weight loss system down into different categories and posting it all here… 100% of it, for everyone to read, learn and benefit from. And the best part of it is that I won’t be holding anything back or charging a single cent for the information.
I know how hard it can be when it comes to getting started with losing weight, so I want to try to give everyone the motivation and encouragement that they need to get it done!

Keeping it lean.
